PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE COLORS APP

Introduction

The Colors application (hereinafter: the “Application”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data.

By using the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

The Application is operated by O.D. GIGANT, with its registered office at Pijačna 110, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. O.D. GIGANT acts as the data controller, owns the platform, and is responsible for the processing of users’ personal data.

Types of Data We Collect

When you register for and use the Application, we may collect the following data:

Required data:

  • Email address
  • Username
  • Password (or authentication tokens when signing in with a Google account)
  • Selected national team
  • Selected club

Optional data:

  • Year of birth (if provided)
  • User location (if provided)
  • Profile picture
  • Photos and other content published by the user

Automatically collected data:

  • IP address
  • Device and operating system information
  • Application usage statistics, used to improve functionality

Purposes of Data Processing

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Enabling registration and access to the Application
  • Personalizing the user experience, such as displaying matches and content related to selected teams
  • Communicating with users, including notifications and technical support
  • Detecting misuse and security threats
  • Statistical analysis and development of new features

The legal bases for processing your personal data include:

  • performance of a contract, in order to enable use of the Application in accordance with the Terms of Use;
  • your consent, for the processing of optional data such as profile pictures and photographs, which you may withdraw at any time;
  • legitimate interests, for ensuring the security of the Application, preventing misuse, and improving functionality.

Sharing and Transfer of Data to Third Parties

Your personal data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

Personal data may be disclosed or transferred to third parties only in the following circumstances:

  • Legal obligations: Where disclosure is expressly required by law or pursuant to a binding request or order issued by a competent authority, such as a court order or a request from law enforcement authorities.
  • Trusted data processors: To ensure the stable operation of the Application, hosting, analytics, and delivery of notifications, we use trusted external service providers, including cloud providers, analytics platforms, and notification services. These providers act solely as data processors on our behalf, are contractually required to maintain confidentiality, and apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
  • Transfers outside Bosnia and Herzegovina: Where external service providers process data on servers located outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable law and subject to appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
  • Corporate changes and transfer of business: In the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer of ownership of the Application to another legal entity, your data may be transferred to the new owner, who will be required to continue processing it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Personal data is stored on secure servers and access is strictly restricted.

User data is retained for as long as the user account remains active.

When a user initiates the account deletion procedure and the account is deleted, all personal data, profile information, and published content, including photographs, comments, and posts, are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our active servers.

User Rights

As a user, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and request a copy of it
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request the deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Restrict the processing of your data or object to its processing
  • Withdraw your consent to the use of your data at any time, which may result in limited functionality or deletion of your account

You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the Application through your profile settings or through the Colors website.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Application and the associated website may use tracking technologies such as cookies or local storage to improve performance and the user experience.

Users may disable these technologies through their device or browser settings. However, doing so may affect the full functionality of the Application or website.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical, organizational, and personnel measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

These measures include password encryption, secure SSL/TLS protocols, and controlled access to servers.

Data Relating to Minors

The Application is not intended for children under the age of 16.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

If we become aware that we have unintentionally collected personal data from a child under the age of 16, we will delete such data without undue delay.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Users will be notified of any significant changes through the Application, the website, or by email.

Continued use of the Application following such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
